Frankenstein

Frankenstein is the name of the creator of the monster in Mary Shelley’s 1817 novel Frankenstein. Subsequently, however, the name came to be associated with the monster itself. The monster’s strength, cunning, and emotions make him uncontrollable, even by his creator, and disaster follows.
