Dream Machines
General Motors' stylists turned out numerous dream machines touted as "Glimpses of the Future." Some, like the turbine-powered Firebird I, were too impractical to ever reach production, but elements of many other dream machines really did show up on cars that customers could buy. Seen below are the (1) 1954 Firebird I, (2) 1953 Cadillac LeMans, (3) 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Mako Shark, (4) 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, (5) 1953 Cadillac Orleans, (6) 1951 LeSabre, and (7) 1953 Buick Wildcat. |
